Hi everybody! Thanks for being a subscriber.
I started this newsletter in late 2022 as a side project, and I have seen steady growth in subscribers and content views since then.
Over 500 people are now subscribed, including even several paid subscribers. And I’m very grateful for all of you being on board.
At first, I was just posting my written thoughts in the form of articles and essays. Later, I started posting my podcasts and livestream copies on here as well.
But now, I’m wondering about how to continue professionalizing my newsletter for this growing audience. And so I am asking myself several questions:
Should I post more often, or less often?
Should I post more articles & essays, or more livestreams and podcasts?
Should I post more short videos, such as copies of my best performing TikTok videos, with transcriptions added in the email body?
Should I write longer, in-depth research articles about certain topics that interest the right-leaning crowd?
Should I write more in relation to news and current events instead of more philosophical background posts?
If you feel like responding to any of these questions, you can simply hit “reply” in your mailbox.
I myself are leaning toward the third option (post my best performing short videos with transcriptions added). That way, I keep you up to date about what’s been going viral.
But I am certainly interested in what my readers prefer or expect to read!
Regards,
Johannes
I think the newsletter should be more essay formed and should be content that you haven’t posted elsewhere.
Maybe you could attach the content you have posted on TikTok/youtube to the bottom of the newsletter that you made that week.
I like it the way it is. Ga zo door
